Maple Creek Farm was once called Hobby Farm and, before that, Wilson Farm. Dot moved onto the farm when she was 4 years old. Once she heard about the good prices at the market from her father’s cousin in 1978, she began selling with her husband, Norman Hobby. After a time when she had stopped coming to the market, Bobby urged her to come back, and they did so together. Dot enjoys being at the market with the people there; she says it "grows on you, it gets in your blood."
