Guy Fricks started keeping bees in Carrboro in 2003, learning the ways from community elders and building long standing relationships with local farmers to expand his apiaries over the years. Guy and Ingrid Fricks sell local, raw honey, bee pollen, and propolis, and produce handmade beeswax candles and other hive products from their own bees on their farm, which is 5 miles from the Carrboro Farmers Market. 

Fricks Apiaries sells at the Wednesday and Saturday markets year-round.
