For over 35 years, Daniel Tolfree has been farming on 2 acres in a beautiful oxbow of Cane Creek in southern Alamance County, where he grows greens, other vegetables, blueberries, mushrooms, and flowers.

Growing Practices - Everything is grown on a "biorganic" rotational path/bed system, using only composted manures, ground minerals and beneficial soil microorganisms.  Life diversity keeps soils and thus plants healthy along with extensive use of cover crops and green manures, and never any pesticides on anything.
