APPLY TO THE MARKET
The Carrboro Farmers' Market is now accepting new vendor applications for 2025! The application deadline is December 31st, 2024.
Founded in 1979, the Carrboro Farmers' Market aims to create and sustain a vibrant, accessible, and innovative market that supports our local farmers and artisans, while extending the benefits of local food to the greater community. On Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings at the Carrboro Town Commons in downtown Carrboro, vendors sell a wide selection of the highest quality locally-grown and locally-made products.
The Market is located at 301 W Main St (Carrboro Town Commons), and is open Saturdays year-round and Wednesdays seasonally.
The Carrboro Farmers’ Market application is a competitive process wherein new members are chosen by our Board of Directors based on quality of product, the needs of the Market, and available space.
We are accepting applications for farmers and prepared foods vendors in 2025. Please be aware that space is limited. Preference is given to vendors selling unique products that are not currently represented or are underrepresented at the Carrboro Farmers’ Market. For farmers, preference is given to year-round producers.
Applications and application fees ($55) are due by December 31, 2024. The fee can be paid electronically. Your application will not be reviewed by the Board of Directors unless the $55 application fee is received by December 31st, 2024.
You may submit your application online with the link below and send attachments such as photos and certifications to our Market Manager, Maggie Funkhouser, at manager@carrborofarmersmarket.com. We encourage you to send photographs of your product(s), farm, production facility, display at a Market, or any other relevant photos.
All prospective vendors should read through the Market’s By-Laws, Rules, and Board Guidelines before submitting an application.
